This large format sculpture depicts a medieval horse inspired by the Palfrey. In Medieval times, the gentle Palfrey was used to carry ladies, and sometimes kings and princes on their majestic entrances into towns and cities. Standout details are the golden enamels of the arabesques that decorate the blanket.
